They suffer stress and strainin the forms of metal -to -metal friction, abrasion, corrosion or anumber of other wear phenomena, singly or in a combination wearingthem out and in need of replacement. As an alternative to carryinglarge stocks of spares and of scrapping worn parts, it is possibleto reclaim them on board by using the Metal Sprayprocesses.
